College Place
Oxford is a Collegiate University, in which every student of the University
must also be a member of a college. For graduate students, a college
typically provides subsidised accommodation and meals, library and computing
facilities as well as sports equipment and a social centre, with a graduate
common room, bar etc. On the Graduate Application Form you are requested to
choose two colleges. However college places for taught MSc courses are in
short supply, and there is no guarantee that you will be accepted by your
chosen college but we will approach further colleges on your behalf. To
maximise your chances of obtaining a place at the college of your choice, we
recommend that you submit your application as early as possible. In
addition, you might like to consider a college with which a member of the MSc
teaching faculty is associated, for example:
Balliol College
Brasenose College
Christ Church College
Corpus Christi College
Exeter College
Linacre College
Lincoln College
New College
Somerville College
St Anne's College
St Catherine's College
St Hilda's College
St Hugh's College
St John's College
University College
Worcester College
