Knowledge-based Motion Processing/Understanding is one of the problems in computer vision that many researchers are struggling to solve. Its goal is to detect and identify moving objects in a sequence of images over time. It has numerous applications, such as traffic control, visual surveillance and human-computer interaction. This session aims to bring together experts from knowledge-based motion processing as well as from knowledge-based motion understanding.

Specific topics of interest includes but not limited to:

-                      Motion detection

-                      Motion segmentation

-                      Motion analysis

-                      Knowledge-based feature extraction

-                      Knowledge-based pattern recognition

-                      Motion understanding and/or object recognition

-                      Structure from motion

-                      Non-rigid and articulated motion

-                      Video surveillance

-                      Video data mining
