Intelligent Agents in Human Computer Interaction is a Special Session intended to attract individuals who are actively engaged both in theoretical and practical aspects of intelligent agents in HCI. Intelligent user interfaces based on Agent Technology mediate between humans and computers to increase the ease and effectiveness of user interactions. Research on this topic is focused to support a wide range of users, from novices to experts; to support a wide range of tasks and task environments; and to exploit a wide range of platforms, from traditional systems to mobile devices and novel interaction paradigms.

 
Specific topics of interest includes but are not limited to:
 

- Agent-based adaptive hypermedia

- Agent-based affective interfaces

- Interface agents

- Agent-based multi-modal interfaces

- Personalization and adaptation of behaviour

- Proactive and agent-based paradigms for user interaction

- Support for agent-based collaboration in multi-user environments

- Agent-based intelligent information retrieval

Camera-ready papers to session chair by    : April 1, 2003 
 
(Session Chair must send final camera-ready papers to reach to KES Secretariat by 1 May 2003 or they will not appear in the proceedings).
