Libraries
The departmental Library, which
contains books and journals covering the whole field of computation
including numerical analysis, is located on level 2 of the
Wolfson Building, with an adjoining reading
room. It regularly receives reports from other computing science
departments, numerical analysis groups and research institutes working
in computational fluid dynamics --- both in this country and abroad.
Further books and journals on various branches of mathematics can be
found in the Whitehead Library in the nearby
Mathematical Institute.
A much larger collection of books, including all scientific books
published in the United Kingdom and many of those published abroad, is
held in the
Radcliffe Science Library
(on the corner of Parks Road and
South Parks Road, within easy walking distance), which forms part of
the Bodleian Library.
The above are all intended as research libraries; undergraduates would
normally use college library facilities.
Please contact the
Departmental Librarian
for further information about the library facilities.
